Order Kestoil from Ankara Bronz

Kestoil is a self-lubricating engineering plastic designed for unlubricated bearings and sliding applications. It combines strength, wear resistance, and a low friction coefficient in a way that is difficult to achieve with many other materials.

It is a Kestamid grade produced with special additives that improve lubrication, impact strength, and wear resistance. These lubricating additives are integrated into the material itself, becoming a permanent and homogeneous part of the structure.

No matter how much machining is carried out on the surface, Kestoil keeps its lubricating character. The surface does not feel oily because the additives are distributed throughout the material, and machining does not reduce its self-lubricating performance.

As a bearing material, Kestoil offers 5-7 times higher wear resistance than standard cast polyamides. This performance comes from its self-lubricating behavior, which keeps friction low during operation and prevents excessive heat build-up between moving parts.
